Presentation of the League and the meeting of Russian Alumnis of the Youth Summits at the I Global Youth Forum «Future of the World»
15–17 November, 2011 the Global Youth Forum «Future of the World» took place in St. Petersburg with a goal to compile the rating of «the Golden Thousand», rating of the new brand direction «Future leader of the world».
The plenary session of the Forum «Future of the World» attended by the Chair of the International Youth Diplomacy League Kseniia Khoruzhnikova who presented activities and results of the League for the last 6 years.
Also, within the Forum there was a meeting of Russian alumnis of the G8 & G20 Youth Summits 2006–2011. Youth Summit alumnis held two master classes in which they answered questions and gave advice to the Forum participants on applying and participation in major international events. One of the workshops focused on the role of head of state at the Youth Summit and the effect of the participation in the Summit on career, Vladimir Kush (the president of Russia at the G8 Youth Summit in 2008 in Japan, Assistant to the Member of the Council of Federation of Russia E. Tarlo, CEO of «LEKSPRO»).
During the Forum there also was a meeting of the International Youth Diplomacy League executive management and Youth Summits alumnis. The strategy of the League’s Business Club development was discussed at the meeting.
