The International Youth Diplomacy League and the Youth Movement «Junior Eight» on the basis of the expert recruitment of essays delegates, sms vote skype-interview formed the national youth team in Russia, namely the 14 winners from Krasnoyarsk, Yakutsk, Rostov-on-Don, Tyumen, Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad.

Entrepreneur Week was held in Athens, Greece 23–26 February, 2012. Russia was represented by five delegates, members of the Business Club of the League.

Ksenia Khoruzhnikova (Chair of the International Youth Diplomacy League) and Dilbar Sadykova (CEO of the League) took part in the International Forum «Youth of the CIS — the future of public diplomacy» which became a key event of the visit of young political, social, scientific and business groups of the CIS countries to Russia. International Forum 2011 was held 20 years after creation of the CIS.

15–17 November, 2011 the Global Youth Forum «Future of the World» took place in St. Petersburg with a goal to compile the rating of «the Golden Thousand», rating of the new brand direction «Future leader of the world».

Within 5 – 9 October, 2011 Paris served as the floor for the G-20Y Summit for the G-20 business and finance leaders. The project enjoyed all-round support of the IMF, the World Bank, KPMG (New York), and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

On 5 July, 2011 the meeting of G8 & G20 Youth Summits 2010 and 2011 delegates with Arkady Dvorkovich, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Russian Sherpa in the Group of Eight leading industrialized nations (G8) and Special envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russia’s sous-sherpa in G8, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Coordinator for G20 and BRIC Affairs VadimLukovtook place in the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

In the framework of preparations towards the Summer School in New York President of the International Youth Diplomacy League Kseniia Khoruzhnikova conducted a number of working meetings in New York, the meetings took place at the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN and at the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in New York.

On March 16, the Vice speaker of the State Duma Svetlana Zhurova met Russian delegations which will take part in youth «Eight» and «Twenty».

Association of Russian Banks jointly with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration conducted a consultative seminar at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation for the Russian Delegation participants of G-20Y and G8 Summits.
