On June 12, 2012 the «Days of Russia» Fund (New York, USA), the partner of the International Youth Diplomacy League, organized the official celebrations of the Day of Russia. Within the official events there was a conference attended by the Russian Consulate offices in New York, Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN, compatriots, representatives of businesses and churches. The delegates of the G8 and G20 Youth Summits 2012 also were the guests of the conference. They presented the exhibition of Russian regions.
At the conclusion of the conference delegates, along with diplomats from Russia's UN Mission visited the headquarters of the United Nations: Security Council meeting room and conference hall of UN General Assembly.
