G-20Y Summit 2012 took place in Mexico
23-27 May 2012 for the third time G-20Y Summit for business and finance leaders of the «G20» was held in Mexico City, Mexico.
Summits of G-20Y format are held annually on the eve of the G-20 Summit (Summit of Heads of State of the Group of Twenty). An entrepreneur, owner or senior executive at the age of 25 to 45 years (generation «Y») who attained success in business and finance may participate in the Summit.

Within 3 days of the summit about 60 nominated participants from 20 countries negotiated under the agenda approved by the Advisory Board of G-20Y Summit, consisting of representatives from the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and other leading international organizations. The talks resulted in a final document, a recommendation that was subsequently sent to the heads of state of the G20 Countries.
In 2012, for the first time at the Summit there was a meeting of the representatives of regional authorities from G20 countries. It was also reflected in the final document.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps and government agencies of Mexico attended the plenary sessions.
Under the cultural program of the Summit 2012 participants took part in a master class for drawing pictures of the future of the world, enjoyed classical music and opera performance, practiced classical dances.
The next G-20Y Summit 2013 will be held in Russia.
