Ksenia Khoruzhnikova
President of the International Youth Diplomacy League, G-20Y Summit IOC Chair
In 2011, Ksenia awarded International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Future Leaders Scholarship. As a graduator of the program, she participated in 2011 Spring IMF and the World Bank Meeting in Washington (April, 2011).
In 2009, Ksenia established Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization G-20Y Summit International Organization Committee designed to bring together business and finance leaders of the G-20 Y-generation (aged 25 – 45) with the task two-folded: to prepare and conduct the annual G-20Y Summit and undertake professional expertise by the Y-generation business and finance leaders, delivering reports to the G20 Presidents and Ministers of Finance. The Organization was supported officially by the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and KPMG Company, which constituted its Board of Trustees.
Ksenia has been residing over the Youth Diplomacy League for 7 years now. In 2005, she designed the concept for the G8 Youth Summit for students and young politicians, and chaired International Organization Committee (IOC) on preparations for the 1st Summit in St.Petersburg. The Summit was held in April, 2006 at Maryinsky Palace, where the General Court of St. Petersburg sits.
2006 – 2011: Ksenia contributed much to development and delivery of the project in Berlin (2007), Tokyo (2008), Milano (2009), Vancouver (2010) and Paris (2011), being one of the eight IOC chairs. In course of the years of close collaboration with the G8 Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the G8 Presidential Aides Offices, she obtained a remarkable experience developing her expertise on the issues of the G8 Summit Program and major world development problems.
Ksenia foundered "Consulting House" Company, having enjoyed success as a young business-lady.
Ksenia graduated from Saint Petersburg State University as a master of international relations, and since then has been working on her candidate thesis on the new role of the G20 in international relations.

Babek Asadov
Président d'honneur of the International Youth Diplomacy League, Candidate of Political Sciences
Babek Asadov is awarded by the badge "Honorary worker in the sphere of the youth policy of the Russian Federation" and by the medal "In memory of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg" for his many years fruitful labour in the sphere of the youth policy of the Russian Federation.
Babek Asadov has been working at the Department of International Relations of Saint Petersburg State University with the view to enhance his scientific researches in his Doctoral Thesis on the "Role of international youth organizations in development of the international humanitarian cooperation". In 2005, he successfully defended his Candidate Thesis there on the "Russian role in G8: geopolitical aspects of interaction".
Babek Asadov was born in Azerbaijan. At the age of 20, he moved to St. Petersburg, where he graduated from Saint Petersburg State University. Enjoying full wings support of the new Mayor of the city Anatoly Sobchak, he foundered Youth Diplomacy League in the year of 1991, which was designed to become an international platform for dialogue between young citizens of Saint Petersburg and their international peers. In early 1990s Youth Diplomacy League was among the first bricks laid to create the new image for St. Petersburg, - Russian Northern Capital, open for international cooperation.
In 2005 Babek Asadov handed over the Youth Diplomacy League to the young team, composed of specialists in the field of international relations, law and finance, aiming to bring it to a new level and realize large-scale Russian and international projects in various cities of the world. All together, they made up a successful alliance of youth and experience, managed to successfully maintain the task set in 5 years (2005 – 2010). Young professionals worked hard in Russian and international platforms, backed by the all-around support from Babek Asadov in the principal issues of the public organization management.
Acting as Président d'honneur of the Youth Diplomacy League Babek Asadov also runs its Executive Board (Secretariat).

Vadim Belikov
Vice Chairman of the International Youth Diplomacy League
Vadim was born in Volgograd in 1973. He graduated from Ural State Academy of Railway Transport with the degree in constructing engineering. He went on his education at the University of Nicosia, studying English and Business. Guided by his interest in France and European Policy, Vadim graduated from the Collège Universitaire Français in Saint Petersburg.
Specialist on projects and enterprises development with more than 15 years of practical experience.
Director General of the Reconstruction Investment Development Company, dealing with delivery of investment projects in the field of construction and representing large-scale investors at the construction market of St. Petersburg.
Apart from his full-time job, Vadim Belikov contributes significantly to the Youth Diplomacy League development.
"Policy and business are inseparable, therefore one should count all the parties concerned," believes Vadim Belikov. "Young politicians and businessmen don’t have the burden of the stereotypes of the past, roused in course of the Cold War or the fight for the distribution of natural resources. They think global, feeling free to cross the borders imprinted on the maps. That’s why, fresh ideas, brought forward by young politicians and entrepreneurs will be of great value for the world leaders and can make them have a new angle for the global problems, able to improve the life".
