Within 5 – 9 October, 2011 Paris served as the floor for the G-20Y Summit for the G-20 business and finance leaders. The project enjoyed all-round support of the IMF, the World Bank, KPMG (New York), and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

G-20Y Summits are held every year ahead of the G-20 Summits (which are the meetings of the G20 Heads of States). They gathe rthe most successful generation «Y» representatives, i.e. entrepreneurs, businessmen and top managers aged 25 – 45, having reached significant achievements in the field of business and finance.

G-20Y Summit stands as a dialogue platform for around 100 participants from 20 countries, discussing the Agenda issues, approved by the Board of Trustees, composed of the IMF experts, representatives of the World Bank and a number of leading international institutions. Conclusions usually constitute the recommendations package addressed to the G-20 Heads of States, later on distributed among the World Media.

G-20Y Summit in Paris saw presence of top managers and co-owners of the following companies: Airbus, Alcatel, American Airlines, Allianz AG, Al Rajhi Bank , Bosch GmbH, British Airways, Desjardin group, Deutsche Bank AG, DHL, First Rand Bank, EADS Croup, EDF, Enel, E.ON Ruhrgas, Exxaro resources Limited, IntesaSanpaoloSpA, Gaz de France Suez, Gazprom, Hana Financial Group, Hyundai, HSBC, Inteza San Paolo, KPMG, Lufthansa AG, Mechel, Metro Cash & Carry, Onexim, Orix Corporation, Panasonic, Porsche, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Ruhrgas, Siemens, Signalis GmbH, Societe General, Tesco Plc, ThyssenKrupp, TOTAL S.A., Voithand etc.
